Mission Statement

The mission of the TG Re-entry Housing Program for Men is to connect men re-entering society with employment opportunities, transitional housing, mental health therapy & support; to help prepare them to successfully transition back into the community after incarceration.

Why TG Re-entry Housing Program?

At TG Reentry Housing, we believe in providing second chances to returning citizens. By joining our program, they can experience freedom, independence, and access to life-changing opportunities and support. Our vision is to empower a generation of men who have faced life's trials and come out on the other side stronger and more resilient, with a newfound connection to God's life-changing ability.

We believe that our program can help these men lead a Christ-centered, clean, and successful life.

By working together with our candidates, we believe that the TG Re-entry program can help them achieve their goals and create a brighter future for themselves and their communities.

Timeline

To ensure successful reentry back into the community, each candidate will be required to take an active role in achieving their goals by following an individualized plan of action.

This plan will be written and coordinated at the beginning of their first week in the program, with the guidance of the Program Manager.

Each candidate will have the opportunity to sit down with the program Manager and set goals for success, creating a clear and achievable plan to achieve their dreams. With dedication and hard work, the candidates will be able to achieve personal growth and development that will help them to succeed both in the program and beyond.

Mental Health

Candidates undergo an assessment at the start to determine eligibility for mental health services. Those with preexisting diagnoses or medication requirements are referred to an offsite mental health office and must attend all appointments to continue in the program.

Money Management

Candidates keep 20% of their earnings, the rest goes to rent and savings. Personal bank accounts are set up within two weeks of arrival.

Candidates have a one-year residential limit, with a personalized treatment plan and goals. During this time, they will be introduced to Christ, work through their treatment plan, and accumulate enough savings to move out with housing assistance. By the end of the program, candidates should be fully rehabilitated, actively attending a church, and have gained the life skills necessary to successfully re-enter the community.

During the first two weeks upon arrival, candidates will be asked to commit to getting adjusted and working with the Program Manager to strategically organize a plan of action and build their recovery chart. By actively engaging in this process, candidates will be setting themselves up for success and taking responsibility for their own personal growth and development.
